SAIF ENERGY LIMITED (SEL) is Pakistan’s first local private sector company to get ISO 9001:2000 certifications for Quality Management of Oil and Gas exploration and production activities. SEL was established pursuant to the policies of the Government of Pakistan for the development of a strong indigenous base in exploration and production sector to minimize foreign exchange outlay. It is also Pakistan’s first oil and gas exploration company to acquire 3D seismic survey at exploration stage. This strategy has now been adopted by other companies.
