Jehangir Saifullah Khan joined the Group after graduating from University of Virginia, USA in 2001. After successfully managing the Group’s Textile operations for three years, he joined Saif Telecom, where he was involved in developing and securing financing for Pakistan’s first under-sea fiber optic cable system TW-1. Today Pakistan’s leading bandwidth provider.

After successful completion of the undersea fiber optic system he joined Saif Energy Limited and is presently the Chief Executive Officer. Saif Energy Limited has had several oil and gas discoveries under his leadership.
Mr. Khan’s passion for alleviation of poverty through high impact business projects, made him conceive JSK feeds Ltd in 2014. A poultry and animal feed manufacturing company. This project has a direct impact on lives of two hundred thousand people helping them to come out of poverty.

Mr. Khan apart from being a high impact entrepreneur is also a keen philanthropist, his contributions include a number of clean drinking water tubewells schemes in deprived areas of Pakistan, water reservoirs free medical camps and high quality daily free meals for deprived in different parts of the country. He also sponsors several sports events every year to encourage the young generation to take part in healthy activities.

Mr. Khan has also worked with Merrill Lynch, Salomon Smith Barney and ABN AMRO Bank while being a student. He was the member of the prestigious Young President’s Organization (YPO) and was one the youngest members in the world at the time of his joining. He has also served as Member Executive Committee of Pakistan Petroleum Exploration & Production Association (PPEPCA) in Pakistan.

Mohammad Ali Saifullah Khan

Mr. Mohammad Ali Saifullah Khan is a Executive Director of Softech Systems. He is also the CEO of Saif Builders, CEO of Saif Ventures and a Director in Saif Cement Limited. He previously served as a Business Development Director at Sun Credit Systems, a UK based solar company. 

He has a strong background in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking working at Halkin Investments, an Investment Management and Investment Banking firm in London. He was part of the team that arranged financing for the acquisition of Grosvenor House Hotel in London and Plaza Hotel in New York valued in excess of USD 1 billion. 

Mr. Khan also originated and executed and led the acquisition of 55 Newman Street in London valued at over 40 million GBP for a private client. In addition, he was also part of the team that was working on structuring of financing and acquisition of Dream Downtown Hotel in New York City valued at 200 million USD. 

Mr. Khan has taken part in social welfare work, from the platform of Saifullah Foundation for Sustainable Development (SFSD), a private NGO which was founded by his late grandmother, Begum Kulsum Saifullah Khan (Hilal-eImtiaz). SFSD serves the poor segment of Pakistani society through its landmark projects namely Women & Children Hospital, Barrister Saifullah Khan Vocational Training Centre, SFSD Scholarships etc. Mr. Khan holds a BA Honours degree in History and International Relations from Royal Holloway University of London and an MA in International Relations from Webster University.

Executive Officer

Sohail H Hydari

Mr. Sohail H Hydari is the Chief Executive Officer of Saif Power Limited and Saif Cement Limited. He joined the Saif Group in January 2006. Prior to this, for more than five years, Mr. Hydari served as the Chief Operating Office of Gul Ahmed Energy, an Independent Power Producer, selling electricity to the Karachi Electric Supply Corporation. During his tenure, many difficult issues facing the Company were resolved.

Mr. Sohail Hydari holds an MBA (Finance) from the Institute of Business Administration – Karachi. He also holds professional qualifications in Banking from Pakistan and qualification in Insurance from the UK.

Mr. Sohail Hydari’s corporate career has provided him with a diversified experience in different industries including advertising, banking, value added textiles and power generation.

At Gul Ahmed Textiles Mr. Sohail Hydari served as the General Manager – Exports, where his responsibilities included sales & marketing, export refinance, banking, textile quota administration, production liaisoning and HR related issues.

He has previously served with the Bank of Credit and Commerce International in Pakistan, Luxembourg, Germany and Turkey. His last position with the Bank was as the Country Head – Treasury and Investment Banking in Turkey.
